-------------------------------------------------------------- 4. FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS FOR IAGA DIVISION IV SYMPOSIUM 6 (SESSION GA4.06) -------------------------------------------------------------- From: J. G. Luhmann (jgluhman@sunspot.ssl.berkeley.edu) IAGA SYMPOSIUM GA4.06: Solar/Planetary/Interstellar Origin of the Interplanetary Plasma Composition At the upcoming IUGG meeting in Boulder Colorado, July 2-14, 1995 we will convene a division-4 symposium designed to cover current work on the measured and/or modeled composition of the interplanetary medium. This topic includes everything from pickup ions of all origins, to the solar wind, to energetic solar and anomalous cosmic rays. Neutrals are an important part of this subject because they represent the sources of ions. The emphasis is on the relative contributions of different sources for different elements, spatial locations, and energy ranges. We invite your participation through submitted contributions. Please obtain information on the meeting and abstract submittal from The American Geophysical Union 2000 Florida Ave. NW Washington Dc 20009 USA attn: IUGG XXI General Assembly The abstract deadline is February 1, 1995 at AGU headquarters. Please fax or mail a copy to one of the conveners. Conveners: J.G. Luhmann R. von Steiger Space Sciences Laboratory Physikalisches Inst.
