Secretary, Magnetospheric Physics
Dr. Kletzing (Ph.D., UCSD, 1989) is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Iowa. Dr. Kletzing.s research interests lie in the area of experimental space plasma physics, particularly the particle acceleration processes in the auroral zone and wave processes in the radiation belts. He also has an active experimental program in laboratory plasma physics to verify theoretical models of Alfven waves in a controlled setting.
