Don Dearborn

Senior Development Engineer

I've been with the Laboratory Since 1974. I'm an expert in the design of special purpose interface circuitry for microcomputers and minicomputers as well as the system software required for such connections. I have significant experience in the layout and design of multilayer PC boards as used in POLAR and FAST. My most recent project is the design of a cartridge tape data storage system for a ground magnetometer system. I'm also a half-time employee of the Department of Earth and Space Science, where I'm responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of departmental electronics equipment.
